Ron as the original founding Managing Director, created Hanby Welding & Engineering over 25 years ago. 

Hailing originally from New South Wales, Ron crafted and honed his knowledge in and around major thermal power plants, starting his apprenticeship back in 1988.

Due to Ron’s 36+ years of experience as a qualified Boilermaker, Certified Pressure Welder, Certified Welding Inspector & Supervisor, Workplace Trainor and Weld Australia Assessor; he is a very sort after person in the industry.

Despite being the Managing Director, Ron’s preference is to be out-back with the crew, with his hood down doing what he does best.
